Portugal Golden Visa Requirements:
Investment Fund or Venture Capital Fund
Transfer funds exceeding €500,000 to acquire units in eligible investment funds or venture capital funds.
Research Activities:
Transfer funds exceeding €500,000 to support research activities at public or private institutions in Portugal.
Cultural Heritage Contribution:
Transfer funds exceeding €250,000 for the preservation, maintenance, or restoration of national heritage sites
Capitalization of SMEs:
Transfer funds exceeding €500,000 to capitalize small and medium-sized enterprises in Portugal.
Business Investment and Job Creation:
Make a financial investment of over €1 million into a business or company before applying and create a minimum of 10 permanent jobs.
Government Securities and Bonds:
Previously allowed investments exceeding €1 million in government securities and bonds (discontinued).
Real Estate Investment:
No longer permitted under the Golden Visa program.
